I am sorry but I have to comment on this post. I Notice that you are making several comments about black people and their attitudes. As a black man, I do not take offense to your comments, but I do want to let you know about a few things. First, for the last hundreds of years, we as black people are always looked down on by people who are white. Yes there are things that we as black people that the should not be done, but the same can also be said about white people. Especially over the last 4 years when Donald Trump was president, there were many times when he made comments about black people and about BLM. He brought out the racism in people like no one has ever done before. I am not saying that your comments are racist, but I am saying that with you being a white person, you do not see the difference in the way society treats you vs the way a black person is treated. Also you are in east cleveland which is one of the poorest cities in NE Ohio. I live in Berea and have many friends that live in east Cleveland. I can not change your way of thinking, actually I was pretty impressed at how often you comment on you this site and even looked at your Vlogs. All I ask is that you try to understand where we as black people are coming from. Dont be ashamed of being a white person in American, you had no choice in who your parents were. But at the same time I feel it is important that you try to understand what life as a black person is like. Yes as a black man I will tell you that from my experience with black people in East Cleveland, that the crime is high and there are alot of people there who do not care about anyone except themselves. But there are so many more black people who just want to be accepted by society, just like you want to be accepted by society. We all have good things about us and sadly we also have bad things about us. You seem to really enjoy music and you also seem to enjoy education. So educate yourself on black culture and hopefully you will be able to see what we as black people go through. I wish you all the joy in the world. And it doesnt matter that you live in a group home today or tomorrow. What matters is what you are trying to do to better yourself.
